          The Information Technology Education Program of Davao Central College is the first Higher Education Institution (HEI) in Toril that offered Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) in 2010. The Commission on Higher Education IX (CHED RO IX) released its recognition on March 15, 2012. The ITE Program was established and continuously soaring for excellence with the help of the faculty and the leadership of the past and present program heads namely Eric P Ricablanca, MIM (SY 2010, 2011 and 2012), Erwin P. Acedillo, LPT, MIT (SY 2013), Ser Jamier L, Llego, LPT, MIT (SY 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021) and Eden C. Butiong (SY 2020). In the year 2014, the pioneer batch of BSIT students graduated and in March 2020 the program was able to produce its first Cum Laude through Mr. Mark Anthony S. Cruz. The BSIT students started spreading their wings in bagging national IT recognitions in 2018 through IT pitching competitions.
