The main shape of the BSBA Logo is designed after the Gear of the DCC logo that represents the institution’s continuous development and transformation towards addressing the changing demands of the global market.
The Globe
The DCC Torch symbolizes the aspiration of the BSBA to enlighten students as they demonstrate corporate citizenship and social responsibility while exercising high personal moral and ethical standards in their future workplaces in the local, national, and international communities.
₱ Sign
The Peso Sign represents that DCC BSBA program champions financial, economic, business, and entrepreneurship literacy to the students as they are prepared to think critically, solve problems logically, and be leaders in the business world.
Handshake
True to the DCC mission, the hands-hake conveys the strong collaborative nature of the BSBA faculty and students who work harmoniously towards nation building. It implies their ability to work effectively with other stakeholders and to manage conflicts by providing resolutions that promote growth.
Line Graph
The upward trend illustrated in the line graph suggests the progressive approach towards education that is resilient and grounded in the core values of DCC yet dynamic enough to adapt to the changing tides.
These elements in the DCC BSBA logo capture the essence of contemporary business management concepts and skills, coupled with the right mindset, needed in the business industry practice and beyond. This is the kind of education that the DCC BSBA promotes as they produce leaders who live to love and to light.
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration paved the way for opening business courses in Toril district and other vicinities of Davao City. It gained its official government recognition from Commission on Higher Education Region XI in the Collegiate year of 2009-2010. The flagship major field in Financial Management with very minimal students in its early operation but the population increased with additional major offerings in Human Resource Development Management and Marketing Management.
To continuously provide quality standards the college submitted itself to an accreditation and in 2012 it was granted a level I status and in 2015 a Level II Re Accredited status.
The BSBA program continuously soar like AGILAS while bagging prestigious awards in different interschool competition as a way of nurturing future corporate leaders.
