The symbolic nature of fish is as inseparable from that of water as the two are interconnected in life. Water symbolize the institution (DCC) where the fish symbolize the alumni. It is symbolic of the faithful connection of the Alumni to its Alma Mater
The nature of the Salmon is always going upstream from the water for spawning that symbolize that the DCC Alumni always strive higher for excellence for the development of its members and the institution.

The School’s motto is: “Developing Leaders who Live to Love and to Light.”
The DCC Alumni Association is established to foster a spirit of loyalty to support the general welfare of the school and strengthen the ties between the alumni, the school, and the community at large. It endeavors to promote the institutional core values of discipline, competence, compassion, and integrity in personal, professional and community life.
The General Alumni Association
The General Alumni Association is composed of all the graduates of different programs from elementary to collegiate levels. It is governed by the officers and board members elected by the members of the association. The officers and board of members shall formulate program plans and activities that cultivate development and advancement of the institution. Thus, promote a sustainable sense of belonging to the Alma Mater, assist and support the school in obtaining funds, implementation of projects, and disseminate information regarding the school’s development to the members of the association and the community.
The Departmental Alumni Association
The Departmental Alumni Association is composed of all the graduates of a particular program. It is governed by the officers elected by members of the association of the different academic departments (Criminal Justice Education, Information Technology Education, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, College of Education and Liberal Arts, Elementary, and High School). The officers from each department shall plan and implement programs to build and maintain relationships, interest, loyalty among the alumni and its Alma Mater, increase development and generate support (monetary and material) for the school and the community as a whole.

HOMECOMING FELLOWSHIP
This is an event held during the foundation anniversary week of the school. It is usually a dinner program spearhead by the general alumni association with the facilitation of the school alumni coordinator.
SPORTS EVENT
This is an inter-batch basketball tournament lead by the batch alumni association or group under the umbrella of the general alumni association. The culminating games is held during the foundation anniversary week.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
This is an activity held during the foundation anniversary week or in summer usually an in- campus multi- services to include medical, surgical, dental, educational, legal, feeding, and other services to the community.
SCHOLARSHIP SUPPORT
This is a monetary support to needy and deserving students enrolled in the college level. The support will be solicited from individual alumni and the fund of the Association.
ESTABLISHMENT OF AN ALUMNI HUB
This is a center where alumni and students can get together as well as a project for sustainability of alumni projects.
