The First Ring
This holds the name of the institution and its motto: Live, Love, Light. It symbolizes the school’s immaculate desire for holistic, quality education for the community.

The Second Ring
This holds the name: Basic Education Department. The green ring represents the Department’s safe and nurturing learning environment where learners grow and develop their talent, skill, and character.

The Open Book
The book shows the commitment of DCC to promote competence through quality instruction and research. The school’s inclusive and innovative nature is represented by the open book.

The Torch
Patterned after the mother logo, the Basic Education Logo has the Torch at the center to signify the Light of the world that is Jesus Christ, the inspiring model for living. Ultimately, this represents quality education that prepares man for this life and the life hereafter.

The Four Rays
The Four Rays that radiate from the Torch signify the four programs under the Department: Elementary, Junior High School, Modified Work and Study, and the Senior High School. Their position shows the programs’ connection to the Torch that allows them to grow, flourish, and thrive, grounded on the core values: Discipline, Competence, Compassion, and Integrity.
